Job Title: Recruiter cum HR Generalist – Blue Collar Staffing (Babysitters, Nannies & Housekeepers)
About Us:
We are a fast-growing startup HR consultancy based in Dubai, specializing in sourcing, placing, and managing high-quality blue-collar workers — especially Tagalog-speaking nannies, babysitters, and housekeepers — across the GCC and Europe. Our in-house team, Happy Helpers, supports both private households and corporate clients with reliable, trained, and vetted staff.
Role Overview:
This is a dual-role opportunity combining HR generalist functions (50%) with recruitment and client management responsibilities (50%). You’ll play a key role in supporting internal HR operations while also driving recruitment strategy, client servicing, and talent delivery for external placements.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Generalist (50%)
Provide end-to-end HR support for our internal team (Happy Helpers), including onboarding, offboarding, and employee relations.
- Maintain and update employee records, manage HR policies, and ensure legal compliance (labor laws, visa processes, etc.).
- Prepare, manage, and review employment contracts for in-house staff.
- Handle conflict resolution, performance reviews, and day-to-day HR operations.
Recruitment & Business Development (50%)
Manage 30–40% in-house hiring for Tagalog-speaking domestic staff (nannies, babysitters, housekeeping).
- Lead 60–70% external recruitment for clients in the GCC and Europe, tailoring hiring strategies to diverse market needs.
- Use creative sourcing techniques, including multimedia tools, to create video resumes and engaging candidate profiles.
- Coach candidates to create polished video introductions for international placements.
- Build and manage client accounts, including understanding hiring needs, preparing proposals, and ensuring recruitment KPIs are met.
- Collaborate with internal teams and hiring managers to ensure delivery excellence.
- Contribute to business development by identifying new leads, attending meetings, and pitching recruitment solutions.
What We're Looking For:
3–5 years of HR/recruitment experience, preferably in blue-collar staffing or domestic placement services.
- Proven experience sourcing and placing candidates for the GCC and/or European markets.
- Strong understanding of UAE labor laws and HR practices.
- Hands-on recruiter with a startup mindset — proactive, self-driven, and adaptable.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Tagalog language skills are a plus).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Hiring female blue color staff: 2 years (Required)
- Dubai/UAE: 2 years (Preferred)
Language:
- Tagalog/Arabic (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- HR Certification (Preferred)
